Indivisible Napa Monthly Meeting - Strategies for Going Forward

We will not do our monthly meeting on the last Monday of November as it falls on Thanksgiving week.  Instead, we will meet IN PERSON on Monday, December 2nd.  6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Napa Library in the Community Meeting Room.  First, we will address how our community might be impacted by the new administration and how we can collaborate with other local groups to support our at-risk neighbors. We will review our recent efforts, and discuss what worked and what did not.  And we will start talking about our strategy going forward.  Our work is going to have to change.  We will take the lessons learned and the structure we've created and expand on it.  Please bring a friend(s) who is still processing the results and needs community! Bring them all!

Refreshments will be served. All are welcome! RSVP here

Napa Day Against Hate is a collaborative project of community groups and individuals across the City and County of Napa that have come together to address and call out hate. There is no place for hate in our community and we believe that calling out hate in all of its forms is the first step in an ongoing process to rid our community of hate.

One fact has remained constant throughout the uncertainty. The Republican-led Project 2025 is an existential threat to our democracy and our entire way of life as Americans. It must be stopped. Project 2025 is a far-right roadmap for Donald Trump and his MAGA allies to seize “supreme” powers and radically undermine reproductive rights, LGBTQ equality, racial justice, free speech, and other democratic institutions and freedoms.

At the briefing, Congressmen Huffman and Raskin and Professor Vance will discuss specific ways that all defenders of democracy can become allies of this mission. To submit a question in advance, please email info@indivisiblemarin.org.
